FAQ

The questions people actually ask.

What am I actually joining?

Two things that work together: a Holistic wellness membership that covers your everyday, proactive care at $0 at the point of service, and Savvos Smart Pay, where eligible large medical needs are shared across the member community under published member guidelines.

How is this different from traditional insurance?

Traditional plans are built around deductibles you have to hit before anything feels useful. Here, everyday care is included from day one, and the big-ticket events are handled by the community sharing program. Savvos Smart Pay is not insurance and does not carry an insurance company's promise to pay — it is a membership community that shares eligible medical needs with each other.

So what happens when I go to the doctor?

For everyday care — primary care, urgent care, telehealth, standard labs — you pay $0 at the point of service before your annual max. You present your membership credentials the same way you'd show a card.

What happens with a large medical event?

Eligible medical needs above your everyday care are submitted to the sharing community under the member guidelines. An advocate reviews the bill first. Sharing is voluntary among members and follows those published guidelines rather than a contract of indemnity.

Who decides what gets shared?

The member guidelines do. They spell out which medical needs are eligible, what the limits are, and how requests are processed. Your advisor will walk you through the guidelines before you join, so there are no surprises later.

How fast does a shared need get handled?

Requests move through review and then out to the community. Member advocacy sits in front of that: bills get reviewed and negotiated before anything is shared, which is a big part of why the model stays affordable.

Can I keep my doctor?

In most cases yes, and your advisor can check your specific providers before you enroll. Some services are priced better in-network, which is part of what keeps the monthly amount down.

What about a condition I already have?

Medical conditions that existed before you joined are subject to limitations for an initial period, and some are not eligible for sharing at all. It is the single most important thing to go through with an advisor before joining, and we won't gloss over it.

Is there a network or a card?

Yes — you get membership credentials to present at the point of care, and there's a provider network behind the everyday care benefits. Out-of-network care is still possible; pricing just works differently.

What does it cost?

Your monthly amount depends on your age, household size and the annual max you choose. Rather than post a number that won't match your household, we build it with you — request a quote or grab fifteen minutes with an advisor.

What's the difference between the four plans?

They share the same $0 everyday care foundation. What changes is how much sits behind it for larger needs, and whether the plan is offered standalone or bundled with Savvos Smart Pay. The plans page breaks each one down.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Membership is month to month — there's no multi-year lock-in. Your advisor will confirm the exact notice terms in the member guidelines.

Can I enroll any time of year?

Yes. There's no annual open-enrollment window to wait for. Pick an effective date and your membership and sharing begin together.
